Clark Burroughs Group

Michele Weir with the Clark Burroughs Group In 1996 Clark Burroughs, world renowned lead singer for The Hi-Lo's!, formed the vocal group L'arc. L'arc features six of the most talented and versatile singers in Los Angeles. The group grew out of Clark Burroughs' desire to create a musical bridge between eras. The group's repertory is drawn form original compositions by group members and the work of singer/songwriters of the last four decades. Dealing with personal relationships and the world at large, L'arc uses music as a healing art.

The group first went public when Clark arranged five vocal cue's for the Brian Wilson tribute album, "Wouldn't it Be Nice?."

Members of L'Arc are:

CLARK BURROUGHS is familiar to most people as the lead voice of The Hi-Lo's!. Clark developed his talents as an arranger with The Association's hits - "Windy" and "Never My Love." His love and wide knowledge of music, his vocal arrangements and his production are L'arc's heartbeat.

SHELBY FLINT whose first hit, "Angel on my Shoulder," came when she was still a teenager. Known in the professional music community as a "singer's singer," Shelby's wonderful compositions are central to L'arc's identity.

MARY HYLAN, a Grammy winner as a member of Clare Fischer's 2 + 2 & Salsa Picante. Mary is also a busy session singer.

The brothers JON JOYCE and BOB JOYCE are first call session singers and vocal contractors in the record, jingle and movie/television soundtrack industries.
